Packaged and shipped together, 1 Cedar Adirondack Chair and 1 Cedar Side Table set, there are 2 models to choose from.
Handcrafted Adirondack chair and side table made from salvaged, clear (knot free), edge grain Western Red Cedar. We kiln dry our rough cut lumber first before it goes into the shop where we cut and shape it into small batches of chairs. This gives a more stable end product that will have minimal movement in terms of swelling or shrinking. The process takes several weeks from starting with a log to finishing with a boxed up chair. We don’t use cnc machines or automated cutters, although we do use powered machines, everything is done by hand.
The Chair measures 32” wide at the arms, 38” tall at the back, 35” long and weighs 27lbs. The Side Table measures 19" tall, 14" wide and 23" long.
"Complete assembly required" option comes in a box with 34 pieces all pre drilled & countersunk holes, routed edges & finish sanded with 120 grit sandpaper. Assembly takes about 2 hours.
"Partial assembly required" chair option comes in a much larger box with 10 pieces all pre drilled & countersunk holes, routed edges & finish sanded with 120 grit sandpaper. Assembly takes about 20 minutes. There is a lot less work involved in assembling this option, however the chair itself as well as shipping will cost more.
Regardless of which option you choose, the included Adirondack Side Table arrives in 14 pieces, pre drilled and rounded over table top edges, and finish sanded with 120 grit sandpaper. Assembly takes about 1/2 an hour.
Measuring tool, stainless steel screws, carriage bolts, screw driver bit and color instructions provided. All the wood ships unstained/untreated.
