We absolutely love our Adirondack chair sets. The cedar is beautiful, with a warm natural finish and real quality to it. It feels substantial and well made, rather than like typical mass produced outdoor furniture.
The chairs look brilliant in our outdoor space and have become a favourite spot to sit and relax. They suit the setting perfectly and have added a proper West Coast feel to the area.
The craftsmanship, customer service, and delivery were all excellent. Everything arrived on time, and it was clear from the finish and attention to detail that real care went into making them. We absolutely love the chairs! They're beautiful and fit perfectly in our patio area. The cedar colour and scent is lovely, and they look great in the space. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for Canadian-made, locally crafted chairs, while supporting a small business. We are repeat clients and will return to buy another set when it is time to replace them.
I love the chairs and have spent hours relaxing in them watching the natural world unfold in my backyard. The Cedar is beautiful with a rich warm hue. The chairs fit in perfectly on our back patio near our fish pond with a small running fountain.
I would highly recommend these chairs. I spent quite a while looking for a place to purchase these chairs and was delighted to find a small BC craftsman who makes then.
The service has been excellent too as one small piece on my second chair split while I was attaching it. I was sent a replacement within a few days of notifying Rick at Tofino Woodshop.

The assembly videos were excellent—clear, accurate and easy to follow, which made putting everything together an enjoyable experience. The chairs and table now have pride of place on the deck outside our sauna and are used every week.
The cedar still looks fantastic, and we have experienced no issues with shrinkage or the quality of the materials. They have proved to be both beautiful and durable, and have really enhanced our outdoor space.

I absolutely love my two Muskoka chairs! The cedar has the most stunning natural tones, which makes for beautiful garden furniture. We purchased 2 Adirondak chairs and a side table from Tofino Woodshop and are very happy with them. All of the parts came well packaged and the installation was very straightforward. We chose to buy these because of the stunning knot-free straight grain that we couldn't find anywhere else. We have them on our front porch and they look amazing with the existing cedar soffit. We would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for higher quality chairs.
We love British Columbia, and Vancouver Island in particular so when we were looking to get something special for our 25th wedding anniversary, we thought what better than a pair of cedar Adirondack chairs. We have had a few of these over the years, and they have generally not coped well with the UK climate, but Rick at the Tofino Woodshop was really helpful in guiding us to the perfect chairs and shipping to the UK.
The flat pack kit was really well made, easy to put together and as soon as we opened the box the amazing smell of cedar took us right back to Tofino.
